Great Falls, SC — The Torrey Craig Foundation is proud to announce the inaugural recipients of the Torrey Craig Scholarship: Kinsley Price and Hunter Self, two exceptional seniors from Great Falls High School who have demonstrated a rare combination of academic excellence, athletic achievement, and character.
Both recipients will be continuing their education this fall at Anderson University.
Founded by NBA forward and Great Falls native Torrey Craig, the scholarship was created to invest in the next generation of student-athletes coming out of his hometown. The annual award provides $2,500 each to one male and one female senior at Great Falls High School pursuing higher education.
“This town gave me everything,” Craig said. “It’s important to me that I continue to show up for the next generation—especially kids like Kinsley and Hunter, who are doing it the right way. I’m proud of them and excited to see what they do at Anderson.”
Known for her discipline, leadership, and ability to balance academics with athletics, Kinsley has been a role model on and off the court. Her strong GPA and active involvement in school life made her a standout candidate.
Hunter has displayed maturity beyond his years through his commitment to both the classroom and his team. His work ethic and drive to succeed impressed the scholarship committee—and reflect the values the Foundation stands for.
Both students will join Anderson University this fall, continuing their academic and athletic journeys at the collegiate level.
The Torrey Craig Foundation continues to find ways to make meaningful impact across Great Falls and beyond—from court renovations and youth events to mentorship and scholarships. The scholarship is a key part of that mission.
“These two set the bar,” Craig added. “This scholarship isn’t just a check—it’s an investment in who they’re becoming.”
The Torrey Craig Foundation is dedicated to empowering underserved youth through sports, education, and opportunity. With a focus on giving back to Great Falls, SC, the foundation leads initiatives like court renovations, youth programming, and college scholarships to support long-term growth in the community.
Congratulations to Kinsley Price & Hunter Self — The 2025 Torrey Craig Scholars. Anderson University is lucky to have you.
